Nora Lehotzky obtained a licence in Law from the University of Geneva. She then continued her training in Vienna, Austria, where she completed her legal traineeship and qualified as a lawyer. On returning to Geneva in 2010, she worked at a local law firm before spending around ten years as a legal adviser with the SIT trade union. She has also served for many years as an assessor judge at the Tribunal des baux et loyers, Geneva’s tenancy tribunal.

In 2014, alongside these activities, she passed the aptitude examination for foreign-qualified lawyers, enabling her to join the Geneva Bar and practise fully in Switzerland.

Nora Lehotzky specialises in employment law and social insurance. Her work includes applying collective employment agreements across different sectors, the Swiss Labour Act and Geneva’s public personnel legislation (LPAC), as well as preparing appeals against decisions by insurers and unemployment insurance funds.

She also practises in immigration law, including obtaining permits for European and non-European nationals, and in tenancy law.
