Corinne Rochat Pochelon was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 1999. She began her career at Schellenberg Wittmer before joining major international banks, where she advised a range of business areas and functions, particularly Human Resources. She then returned to private practice and founded Zellweger & Associés with Romain Aeschmann and Christophe Zellweger.

In 2016, she obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Employment Law from the University of Lausanne, awarded in partnership with the Universities of Geneva, Neuchâtel and Fribourg and the Swiss Bar Association (SBA).

In February 2024, she was awarded the title of Certified specialist Swiss Bar Association (SBA) in employment law.

Since 2010, she has served as a conciliation judge at the Labour Court of the Republic and Canton of Geneva. She also contributes to the training of judges at the Geneva Labour Court.

Her practice focuses primarily on private and public sector employment law and social insurance.

She advises and assists both employers and employees throughout the employment relationship, from negotiation to termination. She acts in both private sector employment and public service matters, advising and representing clients in judicial and administrative proceedings.

She also supports businesses with employment law projects, particularly those involving personal data and remote working. She advises on restructuring, including business transfers, collective redundancies and social plans.

Her work also covers employers’ duties to protect employees’ health and personality rights, as well as the prevention and resolution of workplace disputes.

She is also instructed to conduct internal investigations to establish the facts and enable businesses to take appropriate action. These investigations may concern potential infringements of personality rights, sexual harassment or workplace bullying, as well as suspected fraud or financial misconduct.

In December 2025, the Council of State of the Republic and Canton of Geneva appointed her as alternate chair of the disciplinary board of the Department of Public Education, Training and Youth (DIP).

In addition to employment law, Corinne Rochat Pochelon practises in contract and banking law. She also acts in adult and child protection matters and in criminal law.
